Dear Richard, Vince and Family, I was saddened to hear of the death of your father. He was a wonderful man and I will never forget my time with him in Huntsville. Loy was the light of his life and he loved each of you boys. He kept us up to date on what you were doing. Then, came the grandchildren and his face would light up and he would laugh at their antics. I don't think he ever forgot the name of any man he serviced with in the military and made you feel as if you were right there with him, while he told his stories. After 10 years I could fill in the blanks. My Dad is 99 and he relives the war too. It was a special time for Nick. Nick touched a lot of lives and I am so thankful that mine was one of the lucky ones.

Vince, Richard and Family. I keep trying to find the words to express my feelings for the loss of our good friend Nick. I'll miss that smile and laugh. I started working with Nick in the travel business over 27 yrs. ago. I loved hearing the old war stories he told over and over. We always looked forward to the Masters each year. He got me practice round tickets for my son and I to go, which my son will never forget. He will be missed by us all. Our prayers are with your family.

Dear Staffords: Peggy and I and family send our deepest sympathy on the loss of one of my favorite people. Our friendship over the many years with all of you was always highlighted by the times we got to visit with Colonel Stafford. It was always a joy to sit with him and remember all the good times and listen to his stories. He was truly one of the nicest people I've ever met. Peggy and I will be thinking of you all this weekend. Our best to everyone.
